Brian Neigut

Brian Neigut is a Research Analyst at Baron Capital focused on information technology and semiconductor companies. He joined the Firm in 2021 and has 31 years of research experience. Previously, he was a senior analyst and assistant portfolio manager at Millennium Capital Management and held various roles at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he specialized in software, internet, and related technologies. Earlier in his career, he covered technology across both buy-side and sell-side firms. Before entering the investment industry, Brian served on active duty in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He is a decorated combat veteran. Brian graduated magna cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University with a BBA in Finance and was a Fulbright Research Scholar in Europe. He is a CFA charterholder. Originally from Austin, Texas, he enjoys fly fishing and skiing and is fluent in German.
