George Taras

George Taras is a Research Analyst at Baron Capital focused on REITs, telecommunications services, and hotels and leisure companies. He joined the Firm in 2015 and has 17 years of research experience. Previously, he was a senior associate at EG Capital Group and an investment banking associate at Citadel Securities. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banking analyst in mergers and acquisitions at Deutsche Bank. George earned his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he completed the Value Investing Program, and his BA in Economics from Cornell University. He grew up outside of Syracuse, New York, and is an avid Syracuse Orange basketball fan. Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with his three children, skiing, and playing sports.
